A Mass Intention is the specific offering of a Mass for the intention of a living person, or for the soul of one deceased.  It is a beautiful expression of our faith and a powerful means of offering prayers for our loved ones.  Mass Intentions can be requested for any of the Masses offered at St. Francis or St. Philip by contacting the
parish office.

At times, we can only accept a limited number of requests per person at any one time.  When more requests than we can process are received through the mail or through the collection basket, a limited number of Mass intentions are scheduled at the parish, and additional requests are sent to the Archdiocesan Missions Office.  Mission groups receive the stipends and offer the Masses for those requests.

One Mass per month can be offered at St. Francis or St. Philip for any one particular person or intention.  No more than one weekend  Mass will be offered during the year for any one particular person or intention.

The suggested donation for a Mass stipend, per the Archdiocese of Cincinnati,  is $5.00.  You may give more if you wish. However, no one will be denied an intention because of the inability to pay. To request a Mass Intention, please have exact change or a check made out to your parish when making your request.
